The RHC has been involved in basic epidemiological research, in the field of Non Communicable Diseases.

Rishi Vally Vascular Diseases Project:In conjunction with Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, the RHC has done a pilot study on about 1800 adults of Thettu Valley to try and find possible cause factors for hypertension.

Pesticide and Health: Over the last year or so the RHC has been documenting health issues associated with pesticide use and health

Diabetes Mellitus: The RHC is also looking at doing some research on the cause factors for the high incidence of Diabetes Mellitus in this rural population

Student Projects: Students of classes 11 and 12 of Rishi Valley School, use the facilities of the RHC to do projects related to Social Economics, Malnutrition, Health Status, Living Conditions and other issues in the surrounding villages.
